State support for Donegal airport to continue

Donegal Airport has been told it will continue to receive state support but will have to refocus away from commuter service for passengers and seek other work.
Regional airports in Sligo, Galway and Waterford are facing closure as Minister for Transport, Leo Varadkar  says he does not have sufficient funds to subsidise them.
Of the remaing regional airports, Knock and Kerry are close to break even while Donegal is also regarded as viable.
