Karen McDonald and two men were arrested last Friday in rented accommodation in Mountcharles, Co. Donegal, following a year-long Garda inquiry into “creeper” thefts.

The two men, who are in custody and due in Harristown District Court tomorrow, include McDonald’s boyfriend Edward Crerand.

McDonald, of Hawthorn Close, Ballybofey,  is accused of seven counts of possession of stolen mobile phones, a jeep, a handbag, a child’s motorbike, a play station,a chainsaw and a baby-seat from a stolen vehicle at Magheranaul, Isle of Doagh, Clonmany, Co. Donegal, last May 26.

Commenting Judge Kevin Kilrane said: “She won’t be getting bail from me again.”
