The Donegal hurlers progressed to the Lory Meagher Cup semi final after a comfortable win over Fermanagh on Sunday. Donegal's forwards were on form firing home 3-17 between them with Mickey McCann getting 1-5, Enda McDermott 2-2 and Niall Campbell 0-7. At the interval Donegal were up by 6 points. As the second half kicked off it seemed Fermanagh were on a comeback but Donegal bagged a goal and several points to pull away. Towards the end they lost Sean McVeigh when the lines-man spotting an off the ball incident. Donegal’s 3-18 to 2-8 win secured Andrew Wallace’s troops a semi final place against Longford.
