Soccer – Captain Mc Hugh feels Harps deserved more

League Of Ireland First Division
Shelbourne 1 v 0 Finn Harps
Captain and stand in Manager Kevin McHugh feels Finn Harps deserved more from Friday nights one nil defeat away to Shelbourne. The club are still looking for their first win of the season. The Donegal side largely restricted their hosts to hard-fought half chances in the first half, and were probably the better side on the balance of play. The games only goal came in the second half. Just four minutes in David Cassidy scored with a tap in after two successive shots from Philly Hughes and Brendan McGill were blocked away by Harps keeper Ciaran Gallagher. There was no change in the bottom placings with Harps still second from bottom one point ahead of Salthill Devon. Meanwhile away from the pitch the board are expected to make an annoucement in the coming days on a replacement for James Gallagher who was sacked last week.
