Australian police name Donegal woman drowned in SCUBA tragedy

Authorities in Australia have confirmed the identity of the Donegal woman who drowned off the Queensland coast on Monday.
23 year old Science Graduate Elaine Morrow was from Ballintra.
She’d been in Australia for almost a year when she drowned, during a three-day introductory diving course.
Ms Morrow was scuba-diving with a group at Langford Island at the Whitsundays in Queensland on Monday afternoon when she failed to resurface.
Her body was recovered by police a short time later.
Attempts to resuscitate the woman failed and she was pronouced dead at the scene.
Ms Morrow was on the second day of a three day boating trip aboard the Summertime vessel, operated by Whitsunday sailing adventures.
Queensland Police have said that the woman was on an introductory dive, but got separated from the team, which consisted of three divers and the instructor.
Mackay police sergeant Leigh Turner said officers were investigating the incident.
