Survey of listeners show most have no objection to Queen’s visit

A survey of Highland Radio listeners on Facebook shows that most of those that responded either welcome or are indifferent to the Queen’s scheduled visit to Ireland next month.
Over 50% of people said they welcomed the Queen’s visit choosing the option that it will be good for Ireland. A third of those who took part said they didn’t care either way, while the remainder concurred with Sinn Fein police on the matter, agreeing the visit was premature.
The results of the poll come as Donegal members of the Eirigi Group join others for a mock beheading of an effigy of the Queen in Dublin. The poll is not scientific and just for fun – for more news and interaction on Facebook click HERE
