Cross-border business forum claas for more cross-border co-operation

A major cross border business forum in Derry has been told it’s time for closer cross border cooperation.
Over 100 business leaders and senior Government officials met in Derry last evening for the second IBEC-CBI Joint Business summit to be held in the North West region.
The forum was hosted by Derry City Council and the Urban Regeneration Company Ilex, and cooincided with the launch of plans for the expansion of Magee by the U4D group.
Speaking to Highland Radio News after the event, IBEC’s Director of Policy Brendan Butler said business groups have been working very effectively together, and now it’s time for statutory agencies to assess wehat they need to do:
