Fanad Utd kicked off their first year in the League of Ireland A Championship with a 2-2 draw at home to Sligo Rovers on Saturday night. Scoring at Trialough for the home side were Sean McElwaine and Finton Bonner. Manager Ollie Horgan was happy with how the side played in their opening game. It will be a busy year for Fanad who are also competing in the Ulster Senior League.
