GAA – Donegal push for promotion and league final

This Sunday Donegal could seal promotion to Division 1 of the National Football League and a place in the Division 2 league final. Jim Mc Guinness’ side have to beat Antrim in Ballyshannon and then hope other results go their way. If  Sligo beat Laois or Tyrone beat Kildare, added to a Donegal win then the above will be achieved. Mc Guinness is not expected to make to many changes from the side with started the previous wins over Meath and Derry. Jason Noctor however looks set to make his first senior start on Sunday. The Killybegs man is expected to replace Ardara’s Paddy Mc Grath at corner back. Mc Grath has failed to overcome an ankle injury.

Throw in on Sunday is 2.30pm and Highland Radio will broadcast Donegal v Antrim from Ballyshannon live with Charlie Collins and Martin Mc Hugh on commentary.
