Gardai investigate alleged sexual assault in Letterkenny

Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating an alleged sexual assault in the early hours of yesterday morning. Gardai are not releasing any details, but it’s understood the investigation relates to an alleged incident in a nightclub in the town. Gardai say the probe is at a very early stage.
Meanwhile, Police in County Armagh are investigating the alleged rape of a woman in broad daylight.
It’s reported the 23-year-old was attacked while out walking with her two children in woods near Bessbrook on Saturday afternoon.
Officers believe a man in his fifties carried out the assault.
