Tyrone attacker Enda McGinley has been ruled out of Saturday’s Dr McKenna Cup final against Derry. The Errigal Ciaran man is to undergo a scan on Thursday to determine the extent of an ankle injury which he picked up in the first half of last Sunday’s NFL Division Two victory over Sligo. McGinley, who scored Tyrone’s opening goal at Markievicz Park, was forced out of the action after 17 minutes. But former All-Star full-back Justin McMahon could make his first appearance of the season in the clash with the Oak Leafers at Armagh’s Athletic Grounds. He has been out of action while recovering from a hamstring injury.
