Tyrone booked their place in the Dr. Mc Kenna Cup final on Wednesday night with a three point win over Cavan at Brewster Park. The red hands had to come from 0-10 0-6 down at half time as Val Andrews side controlled the game in the opening thirty five minutes in Enniskillen. The game changed ten minutes into the second half as Tyrone pounced with two quick goals. Martin Penrose from the penalty spot got the first after Cavan were reduced to fourteen men when Stephen Jordan was sent off. Paddy McNiece grabbed goal number two three minutes later. With Penrose scoring 1-4 and Stephen O Neill’s three points Tyrone held on for the win and a place in Saturday's final against Derry.
