Soccer – McGlynn & Higgins Back With Derry

Derry City have confirmed that Gareth McGlynn and Ruairi Higgins have both returned to the Candystripes for the 2011 season. Both players departed Brandywell following the club’s demotion in the aftermath of the 2009 season and joined Bohemians. McGlynn who had spent the best part of the 2000s with the Candystripes became an integral part of the Gypsy set up, making 30 starts and scoring five times. Higgins played over twenty times for Bohs last season despite struggling with injury over the course of the season.
