Man in a serious condition following Derry assault

A 29-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was assaulted in Derry.
He was attacked close to a bar in the Longfield Road area of Eglinton at about 2.30am in the early hours of Sunday morning.
His condition has been described as ‘serious’.
The police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the attack or has any information to contact them.
