The proposed Radiotherapy Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital has been hit with a major setback.
Yesterday the Health Minister Michael McGimpsey said while the money to build the satellite radiotherapy unit in the grounds of Altnagelvin hospital in Derry is in place, there will be no cash to run it.
He said it would be totally irresponsible of him to let the project go ahead, if the money wasnt there to run it.
