It’s emerged that two gardai saved the life of a woman at Dungloe Lake yesterday, after apparently spotting her in the water as they drove towards Letterkenny from the court in Dungloe.
Gardai are not commenting on the incident, but it was witnessed by a man who lives in a house overlooking the lake, 200 yards from where the rescue took place.
