Number of Donegal people living in Australia evacuated from Brisbane homes

Military helicopters are searching for dozens of missing people after flash floods in Australia left 11 people dead.

Queensland's state Premier says 78 others are still unaccounted for - and they have grave fears for at least 18 of them.

A torrent of water is still spreading towards Brisbane - the country's third largest city - where thousands are being evacuated from their homes.

A number of Donegal people living in Brisbane were evacuated this morning, and 15 of them have now gathered in a friend's house on high ground on the outskirts of Brisbane.
