Derry men before court on drug charges

Three Derry men have been returned for trial when they appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday) charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
John Paul Murray (29) of Temple Park in Derry was charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply on December 4 2009.
Paul Raymond Breslin (30) of Ardgrange, Derry was charged with unlawfully supplying the drugs on the same date and possessing cocaine while Emmet McCaul (28) of Glenbank Road in Derry was charged with possessing the drugs with intent to supply again on the same date.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and all three said they did not wish to call any witnesses or make any statement at this time.
All three were returned for trial to Derry Crown Court to appear on January 20.
