HSE services affected by weather

HSE West has issued a statement saying that due to adverse weather today and over the coming days, it may not be possible for the HSE to deliver a full range of care services, including services in people’s own homes.
The HSE says Services will be prioritised and those considered essential will be delivered first, for example, to people who require assistance getting in and out of bed.
In cases where it is not possible for HSE staff to make a home visit, the client will be notified by telephone.
In the event of your service being postponed for a period of time, clients are being asked to arrange for a family member, friend or neighbour call in them.
The HSE is also asking the public to visit their vulnerable neighbours, especially older people who may not be able to get out in the current conditions.
