Supply will also be turned off to the Twin Towns from midnight until 8.00am each night.

High areas throughout the network will possibly experience poor pressure and flow over the weekend.

Donegal County Council wish to appeal to the public to help us to eliminate wastage by checking vacant properties where internal plumbing may be damaged, checking all field connections, turning off leaking drinking troughs and avoid leaving taps running.  Continued vigilence is necessary as the severe weather is forecast to continue.

Donegal County  Water Services staff remain actively engaged in efforts to maintain and restore water supplies to consumers.

Once again the co-operation of everyone is required if we are to avert widespread shortages in water supplies .
