GAA – Defeat For Donegal Champions in Ulster Final

Ulster Senior Club Football Final
Crossmaglen Rangers 2-9 Naomh Conaill 0-10
Naomh Conaill’s dreams of an Ulster title were shattered on Sunday as the Donegal champions found themselves outgunned by Crossmaglen. Having been reduced to 14-man the Armagh kingpins used all their experience to win  a hard fought provincial football decider at Kingspan Breffni Park. The Donegal side led by 0-7 to 1-3 at the break, with Jamie Clarke’s goal keeping the Armagh side in contention after Conaill had dominated.  Tony Kernan levelled on the resumption but was then sent off. Veteran Oisin McConville then goaled for Crossmaglen and a brilliant second half display saw them claim their eight Ulster crown.
Charlie Collins spoke with Naomh Conaill Manager Cathal Corey after the game.
