Nominations close for Donegal SW by-election

Nominations in the Donegal South West by-election, have now closed.
Candidates now have 24 hours to take their names off the ballot paper before the line up is confirmed.
Six candidates have officially declared their intention to run in the Donegal South West by-election on Thursday November 25th.
No further nominations were recieved before today’s deadline of 12 noon.
The final line up will see Brian O’Domhnaill contest for Fianna Fail, Pearse Doherty for Sinn Fein, Barry O’Neill for Fine Gael and Frank McBrearty for labour.
There are two independent candidates contesting namely Councillor Thomas Pringle and Anne Sweeney.
Candidates now have 24 hours to take their names off the ballot paper before the line up is confirmed.
Voters go to the polls on Thursday November the 25th with counting to take place the following day. – It was confirmed today that the count will be held in the Finn Valley Centre.
