The Mayor of Buncrana says there’s a sporot of cooperation and optimism beginning to emerge in Inishowen, and he was to see that thrive.
Cllr Padraig Mac Lochlainn was speaking after a meeting between councillors and the development agencies, at which the IDA repeated assurances that while they will not be actively marketting areas outside Letterkenny, they will help any projects.
Cllr Mac Lochlainn says the emphasis now will be on developing an economic regeneration group, based on a model of cooperation between the town council and the Chamber of Commerce.
