Malin Head hotel plans get the go-ahead

Hotel plans that will give the area a huge tourism push – and create jobs – have been given the go-ahead in Malin Head.
Inishowen Councillor Padraig MacLochlainn says he’s thrilled the plans to transform the Crossroads Inn have been given the green light by the councils planners.
The plans, which include 38 hotel rooms, will comprise of three buildings.
They include the main hotel building which will cater for 20 rooms, a bar and a function room. There will also be a barn block consisting of eight more hotel rooms, a plunge pool, jacuzzi and gym.
Deputy Mayor of Donegal Padraig MacLochlainn says Malin needs more of the same to promote it:
