Searches are ongoing at the site of a suspected arms dump in the vicinity of Kilea this afternoon.
Gardai and search teams have been in the vicinity of the village on the Donegal - Derry border since just before 10 o'clock this morning.
Search teams found a significant amount of ammunition earlier today, as well as what a
Garda Press Officer says are thought to be bomb making components. Army bomb disposal experts are at hand in case they are needed.
The searches are taking place in fields in the vicinity of the village, and are not near houses. So fasr, there have been no evacuations.
