New figures show that rents for students attending the Letterkenny Institute of Technology are the cheapest in the country.
According to the latest figures from property website Daft. ie - Students renting a single room in Letterkenny will pay approximately €173 per-month.
This compares to a monthly rent of 500 in Dublin City Centre, 339 euro in Galway and 266 euro in Sligo.
