Parent of attack student questions in northern students are welcome

A GAA star and TV pundit, whose child was one of those attacked in west Donegal on Tuesday has asked the people of Loughanure to decide if students from the North are welcome or not.
Jarlath Burns says he is disgusted by the attack on the eight student who are attended Colaiste Mhuire.
Jarlath Burns’ 15 year-old son was one of those attacked by a group of men in Loughanure, some of which were weilding hurleys.
One person has been questioned over the incident which left one student needing stitches after he was struck on the head, others received more minor injuries.
Mr Burns has called for face to face talks between community representatives, gardai and Colaiste Mhuire to determine if students from northern Ireland are welcome in the area at all.
