West Tyrone MP Pat Doherty says he believes there will be more cross border cooperation in the North West following the election of an unprecedented number of Sinn Fein members to top positions in local councils.
Mr Doherty was speaking following the election of Clr Cora Harvey as Mayor of Donegal this week. her Deputy Mayor Cllr Padraig Mac Lochlainn is also Mayor of Buncrana.
