GAA – Molloy To Miss Qualifier First Round

Donegal’s Dermot Molloy has been handed a four week ban and  will miss the first round of the All Ireland Qualifiers at the end of June.  The forward was hit with the ban by the CCCC for an incident involving Down defender Damien Rafferty in Donegal’s defeat to the Mourne County in the Ulster Championship. In that game Molloy made his senior debut for Donegal and scored 1-3. The incident with Rafferty took place five minutes into the match and after studying video evidence the four week ban was handed down.
Dungloe’s Adrian Hanlon could also be on the sideline for a term after been sent off in the Gaeltacht Final’s in County Mayo. Hanlon is facing a  possible eight week suspension.
