Leading specialist says government cancer policy is ‘crazy’

The Head of Cancer Services at St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin has said he is sceptical as to whether or not joint cancer services between Letterkenny and Altnagelvin hospitals will work.
John Crown has said the best option would have been a co-operation between Sligo and Letterkenny General hospital’s in providing a centre of excellence in the north west.
Mr Crown says having four centres in Dublin and none in the northwest is crazy:
