Donegal’s older people urged to have their say on government strategy

A special meeting has been held in Donegal aimed at encouraging older people in the county to have their voices heard in the compiling of the government’s National Positive Ageing Strategy.
Submissions are currently being accepted for the strategy which is the first of its kind in Ireland spurned by predictions that the country’s population will age rapidly in the coming years.
The meeting was supported by The Voice of Older People, Donegal, spokesperson is Mark McCollum says older people need to ensure their views are heard:
