SPORT: Donegal capture Ulster U-21 Championship

Donegal have captured the Ulster U-21 football Championship.
They defeated Cavan this evening by 2-08 to 0-7
Donegal won the provincial title for the seventh time on Wednesday Night after their seven point win over Cavan at Brewster Park in Enniskillen. Man of the match was Glenswilly’s Michael Murphy who contributed 1-5. Dermott Molloy scored 1-2 and Anton Mc Fadden got on the score sheet with the other point. Murphy’s goal in the opening half put Donegal in the driving seat at the break leading 1-4 to 0-2. Cavan came back in the second half closing the gap to two points but Donegal rallied and another goal from Molloy put Jim Mc Guinness’s side in control to take the Ulster crown. Donegal will now play Tipperary in the All Ireland semi final.
