Fall in recorded redundancies in Donegal

While the number of redundancy's in Donegal fell last month compared to January 2009 the Irish Small and Medium Enterprise Association says the figure is still too high.

122 people were made redundant in the county in January, a reduction of 73 or 60% on the figure for the same period in 2009.

On a national level there was an increase of 2% with 335 people losing their jobs everyday.
