Derry brain drain a major concern – Anderson

Its emerged that more young people leave counties Derry and Tyrone than anywhere else in Northern Ireland to attend universities in Britain.
The figures were provided to Foyle MLA Martina Anderson by Employment and Learning Minister Reg Empey as part of an answer to an Assembly question on the future expansion of Magee.
The MInister indicated he is exploring proposals for expansion at Magee, Ms Anderson says the limits being imposed on Magee at the moment constitute a brain drain which is affecting the economy of Derry.
