Derry shooting believed to be linked to sale of “legal highs”

There's been condemnation of the shooting of a Derry businessman at his city centre shop.

52 year old Raymond Coyle was shot in Red Star in Waterloo Street, which sells substances referred to as "legal highs". His family believe that is the reason he was targetted, but deny that he had been warned against selling such items.

Foyle MP and SDLP leader Mark Durkan said the whole community rejects what he termed this act of barbarism.
