Proposed Aer Arran / Aer Lingus alliance could benefit Donegal Airport

There are indications that a formal link between Aer Lingus and Aer Arann would facilitate passengers from Donegal who want to make connecting flights in Dublin.
Two airlines are in talks about a ‘commercial alliance’ to operate joint flights, with the proposal expected to be discussed at an Aer Lingus board meeting on Friday.
The extent of the link is not yet clear, but North West MEP Pat The Cope Gallagher says it should ensure that Donegal Airport is marketted through the Aer Lingus network.
