Gardai: don’t drive unless necessary

Motorists are being warned of dangerous driving conditions again today given another night of freezing temperatures.

Compacted snow, black ice and slush are making driving extremely dangerous and gardaí say people should not drive unless they have to.

Secondary roads, and housing estates across the county remain very dangerous while extra care should also be taken on the main routes.
