Fine Gael Deputy Joe McHugh has said it is puzzling why the Transport Department has yet to respond to a Donegal County Council application for funding to improve a road in Fanad one year on.
On 12th December 2008 the Council sought €1.5m from the Department of Transport for a Fanad roads project that would provide passing bays & a number of other necessary improvements on this route
However, so far, the government hasn’t responded to the application.
Deputy McHugh, who raised the issue in the Dail this week, says the transport minister is blatantly ignoring this application:
