EirGrid, the operator of the national 
grid, will brief major stakeholders in Letterkenny today on their planned €750 million investment in electricity infrastructure in the North West region.
The 750 million euro investment is part of the Grid25 strategy.
Earlier this year permission was granted for a controversial overhead network of cable to support a 110kV supply from Binbane to Letterkenny.
