Coughlan’s Swiss expenses in the spotlight

The expenses of Government Ministers are back in the spotlight this morning, with the focus on Tanaiste and Enterprise Minister Mary Coughlan.
It’s emerged that the Tanáiste clocked up a 9-thousand euro bill to keep a chauffeur on standby at the World Trade Organisation talks in Switzerland.
According to this morning’s Irish Independent, Minister Coughlan’s nine night accomodation bill for her time spent at the failed talks last July came to almost four-thousand five hundred euro.
