Donegal organisations take part in community sector protest

A number of organisations in Donegal are travelling to Dublin this morning for a rally opposing cuts in the community and voluntary sector.
The ICTU Congress Centre, Lifford/ Clonleigh Resource Centre , Donegal Travellers Project, and the Community Fora are among the organisations bringing buses to the event.
The Community Workers’ Co-op network in Donegal is also supporting the SIPTU led march to the gates of Leinster House.
Training and Policy worker Annette Patton says the community and voluntary sector does tremendous work in Donegal, and any threat to that would cause serious problems.
