The death has taken place of John (Sean) Connaughton retired Garda Siochana, Sandfield, Ardara, Co. Donegal and formerly of Roscommon and Dublin – , suddenly but peacefully at home.
His remains will be reposing at Shovlins Funeral Home Sandfield on Wednesday evening from 3.30 pm followed by removal to St Conals Church Kilclooney arriving at 7p.m Funeral mass on Thursday at 1.30p.m with private Cremation on Friday at 1 p.m in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan .
