There’s been a substantial drop in the number of people awaiting in-patient beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, with three this morning, one of them on an Emergency Department trolley. The Lough Swilly Lifeboat was tasked yesterday afternoon to aid a broken-down fishing vessel. The crew was alerted at 1:10pm yesterday to a report of a fishing vessel with a fouled propeller six nautical miles off Fanad Head. The boat was towed inland and landed at Ballyhoorisky pier.
