Gardaí are carrying out an investigation in Teelin after the body of a woman aged in her 60s was found in the water at Teelin Pier this morning.
Her remains have been removed to Letterkenny University Hospital, where a post mortem will take place at a later date.
They say they are still investigating all circumstances, but are currently treating the death as a tragic incident.
