Defective lifts used during NCTs will not be operational until April

Defective lifts used during NCTs won’t be back in service until April.
Its after 80 percent of the machinery was found to be needing repair – which resulted in a part of the test being suspended last month while inspections were carried out.
Thirteen new lifts were rolled out in the past week – the location of which were based on population and geography needs.
The service has agreed a repair programme which will start in March.
