Status yellow snow/ ice warning issued for Donegal

A status yellow snow/ice warning has been issued for six counties in the North West and West.
Donegal, Cavan, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo are being warned to expect wintry showers which will give localised accumulations of hail and snow.
Met Eireann is advising that driving conditions may be hazardous.
The warning is valid from midnight tonight until Saturday midnight.
