Finn Harps picked up another point on the road as the Ballybofey side drew 0-0 with Cork City at Turners Cross on Friday night.
Harps keeper Mark Anthony McGinley played his part saving a second half penalty.
With UCD losing 2-0 to Sligo Rovers, the result means Harps now move six points clear of the students with four games to play.
