Early tallies for Stranorlar/Lifford showing Harley performing well

 

 
Boxes are beginning to be sorted from the newly named Lifford/Stranorlar Municipal District with early tallies indicating that Fine Gael Cllr Martin Harley could top the poll.
So far, the sitting Cllr has 22.6% of the vote followed by Fianna Fail Cllr Patrick McGowan with 16.6%.
Cllr Frank McBrearty who is running for Fine Gael is rowing in close behind with 15% of the vote so far.
Meanwhile Fianna Fail Cllr Gerry Crawford has so far tallied at 10.6% while it’s a close call between Liam Doherty and Gary Doherty in at just under 9%.
It’s early doors yet though with the majority of boxes from this district yet to be opened.
