Council urged to do more about fly tipping at scenic spot

 

Donegal County Council is being urged to consider establishing some preventative measures at a scenic area which recently fell victim to illegal dumping.
An extensive clean-up operation at the Whitehill Road area of Glenswilly has already been undertaken by the local authority but it’s thought more can be done to curb the issue of extensive fly tipping there.
Cllr Adrian Glackin says it’s a beautiful part of the county and believes that the installation of CCTV could act as a deterrent going forward:
