Funding for the provision of urban adventure sports activities in Letterkenny has been widely welcomed.
€30,000 has been allocated from the dormant accounts fund for the initiative which is being delivered in conjunction with the Donegal Sports Partnership and Donegal County Council.
Combined with a previous allocation of €47,000, the project can now progress to planning and design stage.
Local Councillor Jimmy Kavanagh is hopeful the project will come to fruition in the short term future:
